People seek a community of faith for many reasons. Here you will find people who are passionate about all of God’s creation – about finding solutions to some of society’s most vexing challenges, keep serving those who are the least among us, and about the gift of the arts and music among many other things.  

Our mission programs are diverse and challenging, as we work to serve God and neighbor through our many outreach activities. We receive from others as we give of ourselves in these programs, as we feed and eat, learn and teach, travel and receive visitors, work, play and worship with those among us. We work down the street, across town, throughout the country and beyond our national borders in partnership with the people of God. 

Families are very important to us at Maxwell Street. We have a Children's Sunday school program for kids during worship, and many special activities throughout the year for the whole family!

We have Youth Group each week, special events, and Mission trips for teens. If you are interested in learning more about those programs click below.

We have Sunday school classes, weekly bible study classes, book groups, a Social Justice group, Theology on Tap, special events (which often include delicious meals) and other Fellowship opportunities for adults to participate in.
