6:30 to 7:30pm ~ Kids’ Night
There is a nursery for the little ones and space for older kids to unwind. After an opening devotional, kids can get help with homework or watch a good movie or read in a comfortable corner or just play. It’s for Kids!
6:30 to 7:30 pm ~ Choir Rehearsal
It’s a new year! New singers are welcome, especially those with children who will be well cared for, during this rehearsal time. Plus all our great singers who have sung before are needed to help us all learn how to be a choir together. Zach is directing; Jenni is accompanying. There’s always great joy in singing together!
6:30 to 7:30pm ~ Adult Bible Class
Adult Bible Class ~ Join a new season of study with this Wednesday evening group that meets weekly on the topic Rock the Gospel. The class is taught by Andrew Hawkey, with help from Woody Berry, contrasting the gospel themes with the protest music of rock and roll. This week’s class will look at peace in response to violence, with music from Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young; Lynyrd Skynyrd; and Guns N Roses.
7:30 to 8:30pm ~ Westminster Bells
This is our bell choir directed by Jenni. If you’re interested in learning to play or have played previously, given Jenni a call (255-1074) and she can give you more information. There’s a second bell choir that meets on Thursday mornings at 9:10.
