Summer Urban Work Camp: Volunteers are needed for housing simulation, to cook, to wash sheets, and to shop for groceries.
Sandwich Ministry: Sunday mornings at 8:30 volunteers gather to create bags containing a sandwich, bananas, juice drinks and pastries. At 9:10 a second crew arrives to distribute the sack meals to homeless at the Lexington Center parking lot at 9:30.
Thursday Evening Neighborhood Meals: Volunteers needed to warm previously prepared food, set tables, serve, and clean up.
Early Care Center: Volunteers needed to care for infants from 4 weeks to 24 months of age. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:45pm. Volunteers are also needed for church childcare, provided for all church services and other services held in the church.
Toiletries Ministry: Please donate toiletries to be distributed by our Mission Outreach Coordinator to those in need.
Maxwell Street Legal Clinic: Volunteers are needed as greeters, for clerical help, and to provide legal assistance in regards to immigration. For volunteer opportunities contact Marilyn Daniel (233-3840).
Mission Lexington Dental & Medical Clinic: For volunteer opportunities contact the center if you would like to volunteer (272-0219).
East 7th Street Community Center: Volunteers are needed Monday – Friday 4-7 pm to cook, serve, read, tutor, and play with children. Christmas

Mahan Center Workshop: Volunteers make toys and deliver them to area health clinics and agencies.
Prison Ministry: Volunteers prepare welcoming gift bags for folks who stay with us while they are visiting inmates at the Federal Medical Center.
Room in the Inn: Volunteers help prepare dinner and sack lunches, socialize, stay overnight, provide musical and holiday entertainment, drive the church van, and do cleanup/laundry for one night a week from November through March.
