Primetimers is a group that was started for those 55 and over, but don’t let the age scare you off – everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in their activities.  The group usually meets on the third Friday of each month for lunch and a program. Some months, the time and date may be changed in order to take advantage of local theatre performances or to accommodate a speaker’s schedule.

Outings have included trips to the All Tech Brewery on Manchester Street for a private tour, visiting the Lexington History Museum in the old courthouse, a trip to the Woodford County Theater to see Scrooge the Musical, and a trip to see special showings at the Headley Whitley Museum. Speakers have included the COO of Kenneland and the director of the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce.

It is a welcoming and inclusive group, so don’t hesitate to come to any monthly event. You will be warmly welcomed. Watch the Sunday bulletin and the Maxwell-in-Motion for future Primetimer events.
