Children's Ministry

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Sunday School is for all children Pre-K-5th grade. We welcome families to join us during worship and then after the Children's moment the Sunday School teachers will take you to your classrooms.

Here are a few reminders and changes for parents to know:
• All children will exit the sanctuary after the children’s moment with the Sunday School teachers.

• All children will meet together in order to introduce our Sunday School lesson through various activities such as games, science demonstrations and dramatic play.

• Finally, parents can pick their child(ren) up in the Fellowship Hall after worship service.

Our Curriculum

Deep Blue One Room Sunday School
Deep Blue offers meaningful and engaging curriculum, encouraging children to “dive deeper” into the Bible and explore their faith in fun and age-appropriate ways. Deep Blue Kids Learn & Serve is a comprehensive Bible study for children, incorporating the pillar stories of the Old and New Testaments. Deep Blue incorporates Bible stories, service learning, science, animated video storytelling, and active games into a lived-faith experience that will help children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today!

Contact the michelle.jones@maxpres.org if you are interested.

Acolytes

Lighting the candle for worship is an important job! Please let us know if your child would be interested in doing this as a meaningful part of our worship service. Contact michelle.jones@maxpres.org if you are interested.
